This is a great, upto date website, all about Efford and the changes happening - thanks to Harry, our Web Author!  Great work - keep it coming! I think we need to publicise it a bit more in Efford so that local residents can access it and make better use of it.

I have just found your website and have really enjoyed.  I
lived in in Efford from the mid 50's to mid 60's.  I came to Canada in
1967.  Does anyone have any photographs of the prefabs.  I have been told
by family and friends in Plymouth, you can take the girl out of Efford but
not Efford out ot the girl!!  Good Luck with all your plans.  Carol

After being in Efford last year it was really nice to be able to have a look at the place again - I really enjoyed seeing the pictures of Torridge way in the 70's & reading about Don Collins.

My first visits to Efford were to help out in the election campaigns from the 1980's onwards. Some of the best tea and cakes were available in the Efford Labour Party Committee Rooms. Since I became MP for Plymouth Sutton ten years ago some of the happiest events I have attended have been in Efford - at the community centre (where my team once raised funds in an all night pool marathon) and where I have enjoyed many a "good crack" with Efford constituents young and old.The Senior Citizen's Club Christmas and Summer Fairs have provided me with jam - and the odd special find amongst the bric-a-brac which is always donated in generous proportions. Excellent website - well done. ( thanks Linda, web admin )

I am hoping to move to the area soon and am very happy to see such an active and enthusiastic community plan.  Great, informative website!I wonder if anyone can give me some history on Little Efford House in Highfield Close?  I think it used to be a School, but that's all I have found so far.  Thanks!
